The new school year started Monday, and things have really picked up. So far, I LOVE my class. For the most part, they all get along, and are all actually friends and play together with organized games and such- a far cry from my last two classes. Granted, we just finished the third day of school, and I do have 2-3 exceptions to that statement, but still. Similarly, instead of 27 students, which was what my roster said I should have, I only have 22. I expect that I might reach 25 by December, just with kids transferring in, but that is only 1-2 more than I had for the most part of last year. It's amazing what a difference 1 or 2 students makes in a cramped classroom.
My degree from VSU arrived this week. In a cardboard tube. I had a Facebook status that read, "I spent $15,000 for a piece of paper in a cardboard tube." Ha. I will pay myself back over the course of 2 years. I have 1 more class to take to finish my gifted endorsement, which starts next week I believe.
Jeremy and I had the pleasure of hanging out with some college friends at the Braves game last weekend. Naturally, the Braves beat the Giants. :) (Poor Jer.)
