It's been nearly half a year since my last post, and we've been quite busy.  School is winding down with only 3 days left with the students, but then 2 days of post planning.  I've been transferred to teach 3rd grade, still at my current school, and am now in the middle of packing up 5 years worth of teaching materials to move to my new classroom.  The upside?  I get a room with a view!  The playground, that is. Now, we will be able to tell when it's raining.  :)

After preplanning, Jeremy and I are traveling to Michigan to see that side of the family, which we are thrilled about.

I'd been praying for a new job opportunity for Jer, and low and behold, several weeks ago, he was laid off from his office job.  Blessing in disguise, really, since now, he just passed the physical test of becoming a fire fighter.  Soon, he will have a basic education test, and finally an interview to determine if he is right for the position.

Lastly, we are excited to announce publicly that we are expecting our first Baby Wood!  He/she (and we won't know until the arrival) is due November 23.
