Jeremy will be heading to Alaska on a mission trip through our church, Cross Point.  Prayers are appreciated.  His team will be boating to a fishing camp each day to learn from the locals, visit, and share the Gospel.  We both went a few years ago, and I was amazed that in the United States, a developed country, (not to mention Anchorage- a large city) there were so many people who had literally never heard the word "Jesus" or "Bible."  Specific things to pray for include: the team's guidance, safety, and upfront yet gentle calling to share with these locals, where alcoholism and domestic violence prevails, not to mention incredible depression and poverty.

As for me, I start teaching enrichment camp tomorrow.  I'm pretty pumped, since I'm first leading a unit on solar robotics, then ending with magnetism and magnetic sculptures.  I'm hoping to also set up my new classroom after camp hours, just because during actual preplanning they fill our time with tons of meetings, plus I will be too big to lift much or really move a lot of furniture.  My schedule looks pretty nice and allows me to be home around 2:00 each day- plenty of time for a trip to the pool or nap.  Let me know if you want to join me!

Pregnancy update:  If any of you know how to get rid of constant nightmares through the night, let me know.  I will try anything.  The books all say that nightmares are more prevalent during pregnancy, but it's becoming quite ridiculous, and prevents me from getting real sleep, which promotes fabulous headaches and migraines.  At just over 17 weeks, I don't feel the baby move yet, although it should be any day now, since he/she (and we won't find out until it pops out) is constantly moving, according to heart dopplers and ultrasounds- so much so that they have a hard time finding a good picture and heart beat.  When they do find these things, everything looks great- the Lord is weaving together a perfect and wonderfully made marathon runner?  Soccer player?  Gymnast?
